Ignoring the ticket entirely creates a second problem: Nevada will suspend your Nevada driving privileges and flag your license in the Compact database. Many states will refuse to renew your license while that hold is active — even if you never plan to drive in Nevada again.
The simplest path is to resolve the ticket as a non-moving violation. That means nothing gets reported to the DLC, nothing reaches your home state, and your insurance has no basis for a rate increase.
